SPRINGFIELD, Mo.(AP) Dale Lamberth came off the bench and scored 27 points Tuesday night to lead Missouri State to a 71-47 win over Wichita State.


The Bears (9-7, 2-2 Missouri Valley) led by as many as 20 in the first half before going into the break up 36-22.


Wichita State (8-7, 1-3 MVC) couldn't mount much of a comeback as the Bears used an 18-5 run to extend their lead to 56-31 midway through the second half.


Spencer Laurie had 13 points for Missouri State, Deven Mitchell had 11 and Jason Fuehrmeyer added 10.


Gal Merkel and Phillip Thomasson led the Shockers with 11 points each.
