Oklahoma freshmen Steven Pledger and Andrew Fitzgerald apparently had an interesting way of celebrating the Sooners' impressive win over Texas on Saturday afternoon.
Hours after the game, the two were cited for shoplifting at Dillard's at Sooner Mall in Norman, Okla., according to a story that appeared in the Oklahoman. They were ticketed for petty larceny around 8:50 that evening and released.
This was hours after both Pledger and Fitzgerald played roles in the Sooners 80-71 upset of then No.9 Longhorns. Pledger, a 6-foot-4 guard, scored nine points in 24 minutes. Fitzgerald, a 6-7 forward, started the game and finished with three points in 19 minutes.
Both players have since been suspended by head coach Jeff Capel.
There was no word Tuesday on what punishment head coach Jeff Capel would hand out. OU basketball media contact Mike Houck did not immediately return a call from FanHouse.

Check yourself mike stealing is not the black way of life.Not everyone is as perfect as you. Think of all the things you have stolen and not got caught for and you know you have. You may think you are better than anyone but you aren't. You have short comings just like the rest of us you just put yourself on a pedestal because no one else will. You are just s good as they are. Did you ever notice how the white woman are groupies and chase after the black athletes. If they were everyday black men some of them wouldn't give them the time of day. But cahsing after them and getting pregnant asures them that they will never have to work again in life after they divorcethem.
