Bruce Pearl seems like a pretty intense dude. He's willing to paint himself orange and run around Knoxville, Tenn., shirtless, for one thing. For another, he yells a lot. Well, on Thursday night against South Carolina, he was rocking a blazer-white T-shirt combo. And at one point during the first half, he ripped said blazer off. Brent Musberger noticed, too. Enjoy.
I tend to like Pearl, even if he does embody everything about Tennessee that is so, well, Tennessean. But I'm pretty sure that unspoken coaching etiquette dictates that if you wear the T-shirt-blazer combo, you leave the blazer on for the entire game.

I believe the t-shirt look goes back to Bruce's time at UWM. I don't remember the specifics, but something happened to Bruce's button-down shirt, so he wore the t-shirt with a blazer for the game. UWM won, and it became a good luck thing.
