BracketBusters 2009 matchups have been announced. FanHouse has the skinny. The BracketBusters series is going to finally force No. 22 Utah State to play somebody good. Well, sort of.
Utah State finally cracked the Top 25 thanks in part to a schedule that includes more cupcakes than a Duncan Hines display case. Utah State's strength of schedule is currently as shameful 275 -- and that includes games against BYU and Utah.
So it's only fitting that the Aggies will be paired against an undermanned team in the 2009 BracketBusters. Utah State will face St. Mary's -- a team that has received a lot of unexplained attention from Aggies' fans.
St. Mary's, of course, will be without star guard Patrick Mills who will likely undergo surgery on his injured right hand. The Gaels haven't looked the same since Mills was injured in the first half against Gonzaga on Thursday. St. Mary's followed that up by being smoked by Portland on Saturday.
In other words, St. Mary's is the prefect opponent for Utah State.
So even when being forced to play a decent team for a change, Utah State catches a break. And it needs a break like the Steelers need another beneficial call from the referees.
The one positive for Utah State is that it will get a return visit from St. Mary's next year. Coach Stew Morrill has had trouble getting teams to travel to Logan, so now he figures to have at least one quality non-conference opponent come to town. That is, of course, assuming that Mills returns to St. Mary's next year. You can likely guess what he is going to do.

Once again Adam, well below expectations and this time you've included false information (not surprised really). You should check your numbers in this article ... I'm not going to point out your mistake so you'll have to actually work for a story for once.

The SOS you have listed it way off the actual number. Also you should know that not many aggies are excited that mills is injured. We want to see this team play a good team at full strength, because this game is a lose lose situation.
I think the main reason you write mean articles about the aggies is because we actually have a strong fanbase and it makes it look like people actually respond to your articles. notice that you have 1 comment per article unless you are bashing on USU.
Isnt Papigiorgio the fake name of ethan embry in national lampoons vegas vacation?

I don't think Adam is a BYU homer. Every article he writes has at least a couple of grammar errors. There is no way that he is a college graduate. He sounds more like a BYU reject, which--by his own twisted logic--would make him an Aggie.....now I'm just confused.
How is it good for the Aggies to be playing St. Mary's??? I think everyone but Adam realizes that the Aggies are now in a lose-lose situation.
I'm happy to see the Aggies doing so well this year. Although I would have liked them to be 20-2 right now with a loss to the Utes. Go Utah!

Surprise, surprise! Dane to the rescue! It's no coincidence you choose to side with an internet hack. Oh well, at least the two of you are together as your credibility dissolves into oblivion.
I'm guessing you're a fan of Mariotti too.
