Jim Boeheim Shows Proper Way to Fix a Faulty Microphone

If you live in a hole with absolutely zero sports coverage, I will let you off the hook for not seeing the incredible half-court shot yesterday by Cleveland State to beat No. 11 Syracuse in the Carrier Dome.

Cedric Jackson of Cleveland State heaved the shot with time expiring to take down the Orange, but that isn't what this is about.

This is about microphones.

After the game, head coach Jim Boeheim, who looked as confused as Romeo Crennel did against the Eagles last night, was fielding questions when his mic started to malfunction. A few nasty stares at this horribly made device (I'm assuming American) wasn't enough, so Boeheim took a swipe at the thing. No, seriously.

Things you do not want to be right now in Syracuse, New York -- a bathing suit, a bagged ice salesman or a broken microphone.

Go Orange! It could have been worse. I would have been trying to pull the thing out of the podium and throw it across the room and he did try to keep his composure but since nobody helped him out, that's what they get.

Who the heck cares ..its Syracuse . not an important school or anything.. you know the school . where the players punch their girl friends in the face and Boeheim lets him play anyhow. and whats with the name Syracuse " orange" wow must of took a whole minute to think up that cool name .. SU sucks as bad as the the football team plays

Orangemen originated from the Saltine Warrior (Indian) in Upstate New York. Due to political correctness, they changed the Mascot from an Indian to an Orange. CUSE Rules

GO CUSE!! We love Coach Boeheim! Don't blame him for whatever the player does outside of the game. He can only do so much to police what his players do off the court. Also, that is ONE player, ONE mistake and I am not so sure it is even a actual occurence.......as you know there are alot of false accusations against college athletes these days.....

Yeah well Boeheim must be a low class person to let Devendorf play after punching a woman in the face. IF he played at Penn State ( A HIGH CLASS SCHOOL ) he would be tossed off the team . and I am proud of that .Glad Syracuse has Boeheim. the CUSE is a poor excuse for sports.. WHY TO GO SYRACUSE go shovel some snow haaaaaaaaa

Sounds like Mike is just alittle jealous of the Syracuse basketball program.........I think PSU had their troubles with some of their football players too. It can happen at any school, at any time and btw the Cuse didn't need Devendorf anyway today when they beat Memphis!! Coach Boeheim is to Syracuse what JoePa is to PSU. GO CUSE!!
