Davidson's Stephen Curry continues to make the media rounds as the biggest star of this year's NCAA Tournament, and his latest stop was on Conan O'Brien:
Conan asked Curry for his Final Four predictions, and I was pleasantly surprised that he didn't just give the cliched answer about all four teams being great. Instead, Curry actually offered an opinion:
"We've played three of the four Final Four teams, so I have pretty good experience with all of them," Curry said. "I think UNC's going to take it, just because of [Tyler] Hansbrough and the amount of depth they have on the floor. I think it's going to be UNC and UCLA in the championship and I think UNC will take it."
Replied Conan, "I'm going to put a lot of money on that and then come looking for you if it doesn't happen."

Well now, Stephen is 0-2. Other than that, it was a good prediction.

Good thing Steph plays better than he prognosticates.

Looks like Davidson caught the Jayhawks on a down day. KU blew UNC out of the building. I guess KU would beat Davidson like a drum 9 out of 10. Lucky Curry got them on the 1 day the Jayhawks felt a little off. Even then KU still won. Maybe somebody from Kansas should go to NC and teach them how to play ball.

Mlieau...davidson did not catch Kansas on a down day, they simply were able to control the tempo and thus limit the amount of possessions in the game. UNC has been overrated the entire year and was finally exposed by a solid Kansas team. I really doubt Kansas would beat Davidson 9 out of 10 times. The reason why Kansas one this game was because both teams played the same tempo, and Kansas simply has better players. UCLA lost today because their players forgot what type of style fits them the best. Yes, they are more talented than in years past, but they are also less focused. When playing teams such as UNC or Kansas, you have to slow the pace down, limit possessions, limit 2nd chance points and sooner or later those teams will break. Davidson played exactly how UCLA played last year and the year before, and just about beat Kansas. Too bad the bruins forgot that today.
