The Big East has released the 2007-08 schedules for the 16 member schools. This year, all teams play each other once and there three home-and-homes in an 18-game conference schedule. All the schedules can be found here.Toughest Non-Conference Games: Arkansas (in Puerto Rico), at Boston College and South Carolina (in Philadelphia)
Big East Home-and-Homes: UConn, DePaul and WVU.
Toughest Stretch: If Providence wants to make the NCAA Tournament this year, they better pile up the wins early. Their last 7 games in the season will be a brutal stretch. It starts with a trip to Pittsburgh and then home for games against Georgetown and Louisville. After that it's out to Morgantown and then Cinci. Finally the season ends with two home games with UConn and 'Nova.
Biggest Game: March 8, Villanova. The final game of the season and both teams will likely be somewhere on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament. Very likely, the winner punches their ticket. If Providence falls short, Providence Coach Tim Welsh will be updating his resume.
