The Big East has released the 2007-08 schedules for the 16 member schools. This year, all teams play each other once and there three home-and-homes in an 18-game conference schedule. All the schedules can be found here.Toughest Non-Conference Games: at Washington, Oklahoma St. and Duke (in NYC)
Big East Home-and-Homes: West Virginia, Villanova and Cincinnati.
Toughest Stretch: The tail end of the Big East schedule is brutal for Pitt. For six games in just over two weeks, Pitt will have a good idea of how far it can expect to go in the post season. Road games at Marquette and then Notre Dame, then home for games with Louisville and Cinci. After that, it's road games once more at Syracuse and West Virginia.
Biggest Game: December 20, at Madison Square Garden versus Duke. Maybe not important for the conference. This is the game Pitt fans expected and wanted last March. Instead VCU knocked off Duke. For Pitt fans, even if Duke is down a bit, this game is one by which they can measure the progress of the program.
