The Big East has released the 2007-08 schedules for the 16 member schools. This year, all teams play each other once and there three home-and-homes in an 18-game conference schedule. All the schedules can be found here.Toughest Non-Conference Games: Kansas State (in NYC); Baylor, Wichita St. and maybe Georgia Tech (all three in Virgin Islands)
Big East Home-and-Homes: Marquette, DePaul and UConn.
Toughest Stretch: January offers a challenging period. It starts with a home game with UConn then a trip to Milwaukee to play Marquette. After a respite at home with Cinci, East Coast road games at Georgetown and Villanova before returning home for a game with Providence.
Biggest Game: February 21, Pitt. The last time Notre Dame beat Pitt will have been 5 years ago. Pitt has beaten the Irish 5 straight times. Mike Brey has never beaten Jamie Dixon and this is the kind of game Notre Dame needs to show they belong in the upper-half of the Big East.
