In the 12 days since Don Imus called the Rutgers women's basketball team "nappy-headed hos," few people have been as outspoken about the matter as Jason Whitlock, the columnist for AOL Sports and the Kansas City Star.

Now he has another outlet for his thoughts on the matter: He's set to appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday. Although Whitlock hasn't defended Imus, he's saved his harshest criticism for Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, who he says are more interested in using the incident to draw attention to themselves than they are in actually fighting the racism and sexism that underlie the comment.

Oprah has already had the Rutgers women's team as guests, and in having Whitlock as a guest, the show will no doubt explore whether this incident should cause people to address larger issues than just Imus's comment. Today's episode is entitled, "After Imus: Now What?"
