Commercials: Michael Jordan, Kevin Bacon, Coach K, Tiger

We've seen enough commercials on the CBS broadcast that I now have one I'm already sick of, one I'll soon get sick of, and one I actually kinda like.

The one I kinda like is Tiger Woods playing PGA Tour '07 on the Wii:
That's also the only one I can actually imagine making people want to buy the product.

The one I'm already sick of: What is the point of that Hanes commercial with Kevin Bacon shooting baskets and Michael Jordan blocking them? That Jordan would dominate Bacon in a game of one-on-one? Are there people who aren't already aware of that? And are those people going to buy Hanes underwear once the commercial makes them come to that realization? No athlete has had a greater impact on the way sports and commercial endorsements go hand in hand than Michael Jordan, but it sure has been a long time since he's been in a good commercial.

The one I'll soon get sick of: Coach K for State Farm Insurance. The gist is that Coach K is great at coaching and your local State Farm insurance representative is a great insurance agent. I wonder how much cash it took Coach K to agree to be in a commercial that compared him to an insurance salesman.
