Conference: Pac-10
Record: 26-7, 11-7 in conference
RPI: 21
How They Got In: Won Pac-10 Tournament by kicking everyone else's ass.
Seed/bracket: 3, Midwest
Mascot: Ducks. Add "Mighty" in front of it and Emilio Estevez, and you have yourselves a movie.
Big Win: Tagged UCLA with its first loss, at Georgetown, Arizona, Washington State (2x)
Notable Loss: At Cal.
Player You Should Know: Aaron "Sub-zero" Brooks. The guy was in discussion for National Player of the Year earlier in the season and is a big reason for Oregon's 13-0 start.
Outlook: Can run with anyone, but could be challenged against a bigger team with dominating post player.

The Ducks are peaking now. They can run, shoot and play defense. Only weakness is big post man.

that's been their weakness all season long. and look where it got them...
catron's big ArSS along with leunen and hairston's great help def will do the ducks well if the team can keep up the level of energy they've showed these last 6 games. i think their weakness is the lack of experience with these players. but getting to play in a conference tourney was something this group of players really needed. blowing through their opponents was great for their confidence, not so good for being battle tested. i'll take the confidence.
go ducks!

Ihave a question how many dominant post players are there out there? One who has been good, though I wouldn't call him dominant is Roy Hibbert of georgetown. Oregon held him to 4 points. I say they do pretty decent again big guys.

i truley and honestly believe that the ducks have as good or better chance of winning it all. there is no one in the tourney that can stay with them and as far as problems with a big man they held georgetowns big guy to 4 points and with the outside shot the big man factor won't be a problem. remember catron and maarty can both shoot outside and that has a tendency to draw big men away from the basket opening up the lane and middle for the guards to work. and lastly but not leastly if champ uguchi gets his shot going the ducks will be simply unstoppable.

I was at Oregon with Ernie Kent (even helped through a class), how come he isn't coaching like he used to play? During the 70's they were known as the Kamikaze Ducks with Ronnie Lee. Nothing could get passed those guys, including Bill Walton (UCLA first loss in 12 years). UNLV scares me!!!
