Notre Dame guard Kyle McAlarney may miss Notre Dame's next game against Stony Brook because he likes to get stoned. He does the same thing before games against High Point, the Dartmouth Big Green, and the UAB Blazers, too.

McAlarney, Notre Dame's starting two guard, had some marijuana in his car at a traffic stop a few blocks from the Notre Dame campus very early Friday morning. He was taken to jail, booked, and released on bond. He couldn't be found for comment, and Notre Dame's SID also declined comment. Touchdown Jesus, Rudy, and Regis Philbin are all said to be very disappointed.

Notre Dame doesn't really need this. Things had been going swimmingly for them, and McAlarney, shown above wearing his preferred green uniform, is an important player for them. He's second on the team in minutes per game, he's averaging 10.3 points per game, and is one of Notre Dame's most reliable shooters.

Notre Dame opens conference play on January 3rd against Louisville.
